I was asked to make cupcakes for a baby shower of someone who did not know the gender of their unborn child. After much deliberation with the host, we decided to make the cupcakes match the invitation that was sent out.

The invitation had sparkles on the polka dots, and so did the cupcakes. Edible Glitter did the trick!
